Businesscontact (PVT) Ltd was incorporated as a Private Limited Company, in the year 2001 and was a collaboration between Swisscontact, the Swiss Foundation for Technical cooperation, and a group of Sri Lankan professionals. 

 Swisscontact itself was founded in 1959 by the leading Swiss businessmen and Universities. Under mandates of the Swiss Federal Government, Federal governments of partner countries, and International organizations (World Bank, Asian Development Bank, etc.), the Foundation provides technical assistance in 25 Asian, Latin American and East European countries. 

 Businesscontact (PVT) Ltd was founded to provide professional Marketing consultancy to the private sector organizations, as it was felt at that time that there was an unfulfilled need. From the inception, Businesscontact (PVT) Ltd approach was holistic, and this necessitated the inclusion of other professional services.It is owned and managed by Sri Lankan professionals now.

 Businesscontact (PVT) Ltd has served over 200 top clients in the Banking, IT, Service and manufacturing industries.  The Company also has several international NGOs and Agencies, in addition to public sector organizations, as its clientele.

Our subsidiary. Marketing & Research Services have been in operation for decades, offering social and commercial solutions and strategies through customized quantitative and qualitative research. MRS too have both local as well as international clientele.
